Mikkel Haugegaard, Niels Kristian Lykkeberg and Simon Skipper officially “closed down the Nairobi Skatepark” a few weeks ago with probably the dopest footage we have seen so far. Video by Casper Haugegaard.
The park is located at the Shangilia orphanage in the Kibagare slum. Shangilia is offering street children a safe place to live, provides them with an education and uses skateboarding as a tool to carefully restore the children’s self-esteem.
